OUR PROJECTS

UCC targets opportunistic real estate development projects that are driven by community needs and aligned with community focus. Projects often incorporate land equity for improved returns and to strengthen community partnerships. Through a holistic ESG approach, we have connected with development partners to pursue unique placemaking projects that will leave a lasting impact on some of Nashville’s most historic communities.

NORTHVIEW

MIXED USE | MULTIFAMILY

Racial gaps in retirement security have worsened due to the pandemic and rising inflation causing 55+ employees to delay retirement to build necessary savings. UCC is developing a mixed income active senior housing development in North Nashville in partnership with a leading faith-based organization.

Northview will deliver 254 residences, a mix of one- and two-bedroom units that will be available to seniors earning between 40% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). The property will feature a variety of shared resident amenity spaces including a fitness center, a rooftop deck, walking trails and recreational spaces. Additionally, residents will benefit from job skills training, social programming, and wellness offerings focused on wellness
management and health education, made possible through a partnership with Tennessee State
University's Public Health Program and Department of Human Sciences.

WORKFORCE HOUSING COMMUNITY

The Nashville market is actively growing and there is an urgent need to create attainable workforce housing at scale that will ensure existing residents and families are not displaced as the community sees a surge in investment focus. The proposed 87- unit development is being designed to feature community greenway connections, club house, and a generational pocket park. The project represents a collaborative community partnership between an existing landowner to create missing housing solutions.
